a celebration of gratitude
Before our mother Kathleen passed away, she gave us the names of five nurses who made a special impact on her and asked us to thank them somehow. Kathleen's birthday was December 12th, and since she was so big on celebrating, we decided to spend the day celebrating the nurses she wanted to show gratitude to.

Seeing the nurses smile and hearing the stories of their experiences treating our mom was so wonderful, we felt her presence near. We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to thank these special women!

We presented each nurse with a gift box filled with some of life's simple pleasures, including items that brought Kathleen joy. ​
