Who We Are

Our Mother Kathleen lived by the mantra “celebrate everything!” which characterized her zest for life and infectious positivity. Perhaps her passion for cheerleading informed this desire to celebrate, or perhaps it’s because she always knew the value of living life to the fullest. She was never afraid to stand up for what's right and to look out for those in need. She loved her family and friends fiercely and was always on the other end of the phone for advice. Her flower gardens made her happy, along with her Granddaughter Maggie, decorating for holidays, traveling to connect with her roots, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and coffee in the morning with her husband.

When she was 47 she was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. "SONOFABITCH!" (she would proclaim each time the cancer came back). She would say living 12 more years was a glorious gift - we would say it still wasn't enough time, shortly after her 60th birthday. Our wish is to continue the beautiful legacy she left behind by making people feel loved and spreading joy through Kathleen’s Mission.

Look for her smile in the sunrise and in flowers. Listen for her voice in the ocean's waves and bird's songs. Feel her warmth in the spring's sun rays on your face. "Life is good, don't miss it..."

XOXO
